Mirena Coil - re. Cramping higher up

I had the mirena coil fitted yesterday (first time). I've had mild cramping, but it's a bit higher up than I would have expected? About 4 inches above my belly button, about where my diaphragm would be. I thought any pain would have been lower, like period style pain. Any other experiences please? Not sure if I should be concerned... thanks

Hi, I've been the same though I have the copper coil, fitted on Wednesday and the weird crampy feelings started on Friday, kind of like the cramp you get with trapped wind in the same place you're describing!
