Twice failed copper coil - should I try again?

Hi everyone,

As the title says I've had 2 copper coils in the past. I had no problems at all except for the fact they keep expelling themselves.

First one expelled after 9 months, second expelled at approx 6 month. I've tried so many different contraception, I've tried several pills the combined and mini, both caused terrible mood swings and anxiety. I then tried the Kyleena coil, I bled constantly from the moment it was put in and it cause severe anxiety to the point where I was waking in the night feeling like the world was coming to an end! That one didn't expel itself but I had to have it removed because of the mood changes it was causing.

I feel like I'm running out of options and it's really getting me down. I'm currently taking a combined pill, Femodette, which touch wood hasn't effected my mood to much but it has as I have recently found out caused me to have an ectropian cervix which is causing me to bleed every time I have sex. I'm also not 100% happy being on the combined pill as I am diabetic I've been told it puts me at a higher risk than usual for blood clots and stroke.

My question is, is it worth trying once more with the copper coil? It was perfect for me in every way except for it being expelled.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated 😊
