Conceiving after food poisoning

Hello, my DH and I are recovering from bad food poisoning from oysters, bad enough that my arms felt tingly and numb but it's over/99% better now.

Should we try to conceive this month or will our vitamins/minerals be low and so we should wait until next month?

I'm not really asking about the likelihood of conception but more that if we do conceive, is it bad/worse for the baby/wife?

Thanks

This could be completely anecdotal BUT I had food poisoning and then found out I was pregnant a week or so later. I ended up with a blighted ovum mmc. I can't prove that the two are linked but maybe skip a month just in case?

Thank you, that's what i'm worried about. I can't find any info about it but I do worry that it could be damaging.

Hi again, did you have food poisoning whilst pregnant or before?

If you're worried, then skip it as anything and everything that doesn't go right will make you think you did wrong by not skipping

I know that's what I keep thinking and what DH has said too.

Just so annoying 😞

@Poisoningname My food poisoning happened between ovulation and finding out I was pregnant.

Thank you
