I'm currently on the progesterone only pill
Desogestrel with no breaks. I'm due on in a few days.
I went away with DP for the weekend and I took my pill Saturday night around 11pm had unprotected intercourse that night and the Sunday morning. With Xmas and everything else going on I forgot to take my pill Sunday night & I only realised Monday night (last night) so took it then! I'm
Wondering if I'm covered or need the MAP? I've read online if u forget to take it after 12 hours you aren't protected but I had sex during those 12 hours?
Any ideas or suggestions very welcome xxx

Yes, I would get the emergency pill as you didn't take your normal pill within the 12 hour window, which could mean that you could possibly ovulate. Going to a pharmacy is probably the quickest way to get it. You are not too late, levonelle can be used within 3 days and Ella one within 5 days, but get it ASAP as the failure rate increases with time.

Because the pill im on you just continue taking but still get a period.
