Bleeding for 10 days with Jaydess IUD

I had the Jaydess IUD fitness last month and chose it due to the low hormones.

My doctor told me that my bleeding could be irregular but should become lighter and shorter over 3-6 months.

I had my first period this month and the bleeding was lighter but lasted 10 days.

Has anyone else experienced this? My period previously only lasted 4 days and normal bleeding not heavy in my opinion

Yes, keep an eye on it though and if it doesn't settle down or gets heavy go back to the dr.

@SandyWedges thanks will do. It's so annoying. The bleeding was like the end of a period but for so long I was getting fed up.

Yes. Total pain. My doctor wants me to wait a full six months before removing it so am giving it a few more weeks but unless it settles I will have to find something else.
