I've been on desogestrel for just over 2 years and haven't had any sort of bleeding or period until about 4 months ago. This coinciding with me stopping breastfeeding. For the first few months I have a couple of days of very light spotting and it was quite regso I presumed it was a 'period' coming back. Now I've started bleeding again, lightly but bright red and it's been going on now for almost 2 weeks. Is this normal? It seems to stop and then the next morning there it is again.
