3rd Attempt with IUD but concerned

Hi everyone,

I'm quite new here and apologies if this is a bit long winded.

I have tried 2 copper IUDs but both expelled themselves - one after 9 months of being in and the seconds about 4 months, thankfully I didn't fall pregnant after either incidents. Anyway, I recently got into a new relationship and tried several pills, none of which agreed with me mood wise so I thought a coil would be my last option.

At the family planning clinic the doctor told me about a relatively new coil called the Kyleena which is much smaller and has less hormones and I could try that as she thinks it could possibly be the copper in the coil that my body didn't like hence the multiple rejections. So I had the Kyleena inserted on 7th April which was day 2 of my withdrawal bleed from being on the pill (microgynon) . Me and my partner had sex 17th April, first time since having the coil inserted but I am worried now because last week I started having really severe cramps in my tummy and spotting. They started Tuesday and have been on and off and still having them today. Has anyone else had anything like this with a kyleena coil or any of the hormonal coils? Like I said this is my first hormonal one and I know they say to expect cramps and spotting in the first few months, I'm just really concerned because bleeding and cramping was the reason I went to get my other coils checked and that's when they were found to be expelling themselves.
I have tried to check for the strings but I can't feel them except a tiny little bit last night I think I could feel something.

I suppose what I'm looking for really is any advice if this is normal and to be expected for the first couple of months or am I right to be concerned about it expelling again?

Over the weekend I have been feeling a little queezy, headachey and my boobs have been killing me! I took a clearblue digital test this morning but it was negative (and went out of date 3 days ago 😳), would it have been too soon to test if it were to be positive? Should I retest in a few more days (with an indate test) or are these normal symptoms of my body getting used to the new coil?

I know a bit of a long story, thanks in advance to anyone that made it to the end 😂
