TTC after implant removal

Hi there!

My partner and I have decided that we would like to start trying for a baby. I had my implant out at the beginning of this month.
Just wondering how long it took others to conceive after getting their contraceptive implants removed.
Some things are saying that fertility goes straight back to normal and others are saying a few months , so I'm just after other peoples personal experiences really.

First time around took about 8 months after removal to conceive, didn't have any periods in that time period just straight to a positive test. Second time around conceived within a month, again no period following implant removal (in the December and baby was born the following September).

We conceived approx 9 months after having the implant removed. I had regular periods whilst on the implant and they were still regular after removal. Think it can vary, not sure if it depends on how quickly your hormones return to normal after stopping contraception x
