bleeding on desogestrel

Hi, I started this pill to control heavy bleeding and other postmenopausal symptoms. In 28 days, I've been bleeding for 7, this time coming up to 10 days as I reach the end of the packet. It's driving me crazy having no indication of when it will stop. does any one have any good experiences because the internet seems to suggest I'll just bleed for ever and that's normal - scared to stop in case that triggers more withdrawel bleeding.

Following OP. I've been on it for 6 weeks and have bled for the last 4. The bleeding has got lighter so I am hoping it'll fade away to nothing before too long?? Perhaps this is how it works as a contraceptive

I bled like you in my first month. Second month pretty much the same, maybe a day or two less. Third month much less. Fourth month bled for 2 days. A few more months on (6ish) I haven't had a period or bleed since. I absolutely love it.

I just get a few spots when period "should" be, but that's the only side effect so far
