I have come off the depo now after being on it for a year, I had my last injection in June. I have been surprised that I've not had a period yet so did some reading and now I see it can take 6 months for a period to return let alone fertility.
I wasn't on any hormonal contraception for a year before we started TTC for DC1 so that I could track my cycles. We decided I wouldn't get my next dose of the depo with the view to begin TTC for No.2 a year from now. I'm now worrying it'll be a year minimum before my periods are somewhat normal, I'm very irregular as it is.
I'd love to hear experiences of people who have conceived after being on the depo and roughly how long it took for periods to return and conception?
