Levonelle Help

My husband and I DTD early hours of Saturday morning and the condom split, on Sunday morning I checked my cycle to see I was close to ovulation (Ovulation according to my app would have been today, tuesday) so I went to boots and bought Levonelle.
I hoped that would be enough but then at midnight last night I had ovulation pains, I get the type that leaves me feeling like I’ve been kicked in the stomach so I was upset thinking it mustn’t have worked as ovulation was on time?
Normally the sore feeling lasts a day or so but this morning I’ve woken up and no longer feel sore, to be honest I don’t know if the sore feeling has disappeared when I’ve been pregnant.
I’m hoping that the sore feeling went as I didn’t ovulate and the levonelle stopped it? Does anyone know if it can stop ovulation once ovulation is starting? I know it’s useless after ovulation.

From what I’ve read ellaone would have been a better choice as that can help prevent implantation?

Has anyone else had levonelle and had it successfully work even tho they’ve ovulated at the normal time?
