Issues with Pill (Cerazette)

I gave birth in January and after speaking with the healthcare provider they prescribed me the birth control pill (Cerazette) in April after I got my first period.

My first period after birth was pretty normal, last month it was very light bit this month has been different.

I had sex for the first time after birth on 1st June, that day I had been spotting a little. Its now 2.5 weeks later and I still have my period.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so what did you do?
I have called my GP surgery numerous times to speak to someone, but as its not deemed an emergency reception will not make me an appointment. Currently unsure what to do and wondering when this bleeding will stop as it's so draining.

I was the opposite when I was on cezerette never had a period in the years I was on it. I know it's a mini pill maybe book an appt and change pills. The only thing I can think of why your still bleeding did you take a weeks breaks on it, as you don't take a weeks break on cezerette you just keep going.

I was on Cerazette for years with no period which was wonderful, but when I went back on it after giving birth a couple of years ago I had lots of intermittent spotting. The GP suggested I come off it for a month or two to see if anything changed (as long as I was happy to abstain or use alternative contraception). I was ok to stop for a while and the spotting stopped. Apparently Cerazette can do this I.e. behave weird following pregnancy (that's what GP told me). I've also found my mood has much improved. It's very frustrating as that pill agreed with me for so many years, and I can't take the combined pill!

Had a few issues after having my second child and gone back on it and seem to be having lots of intermittent spotting while is really annoying been going like this for the last month the first couple of months was fine. Hoping it will settle down soon. Maybe try for another couple of weeks and see if it calms and if not then stop taking it and have a month off to see if it settles
