Cerelle bleeding help

Hi I had my baby towards the end of January this year, then in March I was prescribed the cerelle pill, this is the first time I've ever used the pill as contraception. However, since March (now June) I have been bleeding constantly with only 6 day breaks max in between each period.

I've spoken to my doctor and was advised to 'wait it out'.. however I don't feel this can be normal? Any advice or knowledge over what's best or if I should change contraception would be appreciated!

It is normal with the progesterone only pill to have irregular unscheduled bleeding, this usually subsides in the first 3 months, fingers crossed by the end of this month your period will settle
