Combined pill or mini pill

Currently have the mirena coil bit not getting on with it.
I've spoke with my gp and she's advised me I can either go in the mini pill or combined pill. Not sure which to choose so after people's opinions on both please, good and bad.

My periods became quite heavy after having my last baby, that's one of the reasons I chose the mirena. Also I do suffer quite bad with pms, mostly my mood swings. Ideally I'd like something that's helps.
So comments and opinions, good or bad would be great

You will have more control over your periods with the combined pill. Mini pill can be more unpredictable

No one can advise as all body chemistries are different. The mini pill totally stopped my bleeding. Should have taken it years before. But others have a very different experience.

Combined pill. If you aren't getting on with the coil which is progesterone only then you could/will probably run into the same problems with the mini pill which is also progesterone only.
