Please can someone help logynon pill please read

So I had been on the depo for 7 years. Last shot was in September was ment to get next one on 22nd of December but I decided not to take it. I have been desperately wanting to ttc number 3 but partner said he wasn't ready yet so I have gave it a few months without taking anything dr has now prescribed me logynon and not sure if I take this and come off it it will take longer to fall pregant. I just want to be on some kind of pill that when I stop I would have a good chance to fall pregnant in a few weeks or months please anyone help

Logynon is is low dose triphasic pill, and shouid clear your body far more rapidly than the injection would.

One reason they say to wait for one natural period is to help dating any subsequent pregnancy (advice that is moribund now that scans are so readily available)

You could always use barrier methods - discuss with DP?

But if he really doesn't want another child, then you and he need a long term contraceptive anyhow

Ah I see well my problem is that he's wanting to try again in a few months time as we are going through some family issues so he said he would rather wait until all is good. Just didn't want to go onto something that would take months on end to get out of ur system like the depo.

If it really is going to be for just a few months, then I'd go for barrier methods. Which, as the diaphragm is slightly hard to get hold of, means condoms.

Or perhaps something like a nuava ring, which you can just stop using, and is low dose so hormones should clear very quickly.
