Non stop period - pill

I started the combined pill on the first day of my period 21 days ago and still have my period.

Usually lasts 5-6 days. My doctor is not concerned and said to start a new pack of pills straight away instead of having a break. Has this happened to anyone else please? How long did your period go on for. I'm wanting mine to stop soon!

I'm now on my third pack of pills and the 47th day of my period! Has anyone else had this please?

GP says a bit of abnormal bleeding is quite normal when starting the pill. It seems excessive. Thanks.

Hormonal contraceptives have always given me an awful time! Bleeding, mood swings, dizziness, periods of feeling utterly hopeless, poor sleep... best thing I ever did was ditching them. It's the main reason I'm due to be sterilised in a few months, I'll never put my body through hormonal contraceptives again.

I don't recall bleeding for as long as you have, but I did have random bleeding on and off for months, it was hell.

Have you thought about the copper coil?
