I'm hoping someone can help so I'm having some issues with my contraceptive and so hard to get to actually speak to a doctor these days but hoping you can put my mind at ease. I tried starting contraceptive pill back in September took it for 5 days and it just made me really sick (vomiting) so I stopped and 2 days later I got very heavy mid cycle bleeding..I put it down to withdrawal bleed. I decided this month to try it once more before going back to my doctor and again only took it for 3 days and got sick to stopped. Again only a couple of days later got heavy bleeding. I probably should have started taking it day 1 of my cycle but instead started it just after my period both times. My question is, is that heavy bleeding for a couple of days normal for a withdrawal bleed even tho I'd only taken it for a few days on both occasions?
Going to go back to doc to get it changed anyway as it's obviously having some effect on my stomach but the main reason I went on the pill was to regulate my periods..but not sure if this bleeding is abnormal! Thanks any advise appreciated!
