Contraception options for Hydrosalpinx and PID

Hi all, I'm looking for some HELP please!!!
Recently came out of hospital for treatment for PID and Hydrosalpinx and am at high risk of ectopic pregnancy. I had the copper coil inserted but it "disappeared". I wanted something that would ease PMS and stop me ovulating and the doctors have prescribed me with Rigevidon, after reading reviews I'm scared stiff of its side effects. Is anyone in a similar position or have been? If so, what did you do? What contraception did you start? I feel so completely lost.

I am on a low estrogen pill. It has defo improved PMS. It’s not perfect and has its own side effects but worth considering.

Why wouldn’t you at least try it?

Contraception is so individual. Horses for courses - what suits one woman won’t suit another.

It should improve your PMS as it inhibits ovulation.

If you do have side effects they often settle, and if they don’t then discuss an alternative with your doctor. There are lots of alternative COCPs to try.
