I started to take the mini pill whilst I was on my period. When I took the pill I thought my period had ended because I wasn't bleeding for a few hours, but then I started again.
To be sure.. I waited 2 days before having sex so I knew it be covered.. But now I've just realised I'm taking the 12 hour pill. I'll still be covered right!? Given I started the pill during my period.

Yes if you had 2 days of pill taking you will be covered against pregnancy regardless of whether you had your period

Has anyone switched from desomono mini pill to desogestrel mini pill - I started on desemono and was managing fine but when collecting prescription this time was given desogestrel- I've been on this for a week and am all over the place,, bleeding, moods and focus and memory-, has anyone experienced anything like this and should I ask to swap back?

Desomono is just a branded desogestrel pill. The active ingredients are the same. You could ask you gp or pharmacist what would be best to do
