Is it normal to bleed after taking the MAP?

I took it exactly a week ago today, I had unprotected sex on day 6 of my cycle right at the end of my period.

Wasn’t expecting to be bleeding again so soon considering I’ve only just came off

Hi Francis90, sorry you've had no replies to this so far - yes it's relatively common to have a light withdrawal bleed approximately 5-7 days after taking oral emergency contraception. Your next true period may also be delayed by taking EC. So the main thing to remember after EC is to do a pregnancy test 3 weeks after you had unprotected sex, regardless of what your subsequent bleeding pattern is like.
