Contraceptive patch opinions

I'm currently on the pill Millinette, but I get horrendous headaches every month. I was put on millinette because of previous problems with headaches on the pill. They're just as bad, if not worse. So I've been looking at the patch... Can I trust a patch?! Just looking for opinions and experiences please.

I found it just came off all the time, but this was about 5 years ago, it might have improved.

I loved it but I thought they stopped prescribing it? That's what they told me 20 years ago (I've got a mirena coil now which I love)

I got pregnant while on the patch, despite the doctor saying that could not happen!!

I've used the patch for years and never had a problem with it. It's never fallen off, no side effects and has been 100% effective. My GP has always been happy to prescribe it.
