I took Ellaone at the start of last December and it was a horrific experience. I lost all control of my emotions for weeks and broke out in boils on my face. Ever since, my periods have been really painful and really, really light. I'm talking 2 day flow when I'm usually 5 days. Also bad pains before my period.
I'm convinced Ellaone has really screwed up my hormone balance. My doctor just dismisses it and told me I'm menopausal- but I dont think am! I'm barely 40 and all the women in my family were well into their 50s when they hit menopause. My mother was 57 when her periods finally stopped (poor woman!) It was a bad time last year to get pregnant but we had hoped to try in the next couple of years. I'm worried I've messed up my body taking this horrible pill, that I've lessened our chances even more of getting pregnant.
Has anyone else experienced long term effects after taking Ellaone?
