Stop the pill during lockdown or keep going?

I met a new bloke about a year ago; he's nice and sex is great. We only see each other two or three times a month because we live in different cities. Suits me!

I've been on cerazette/cerelle since the summer; it was a bit messy at first (loads of bleeding) but settled down after about two months. Only other side effect was that I've gained a bit of weight.

My boyfriend and I now can't see each other for the duration of the coronavirus lockdown because we are geographically apart. Definitely no sex for a while.
So my question is this: when I get to the end of my current 'month' on this pill, is it better for me to just keep going, or should I give my body a rest and skip the next month? Which would be better in the long run?

I think you should keep taking it. Your body doesn't need a 'break' and as you had bleeding while settling on it you could have that again when you start taking it again.

I’m on the same pills as well and my husband works abroad so I take them when he is around and when he lives I stop to give myself a break.

Just keep going, I would.

Keep taking it unless your intention is to get pregnant in the near future (obviously not during lockdown as you mention). It's better not to mess your body around once it's got in to a rhythm

It's taken a while to settle your body so I'd keep going
