Noriday / Norgeston

Hi ,
I have taken Noriday for 20 years with the exception of when I was pregnant with DS .
I got a repeat prescription from the doctor a couple of weeks ago and the chemist is unable to fulfil it due to production issues .
I feel like I can’t pester the GP with something trivial and was thinking of buying an equivalent , mainly to stop me from starting my periods... keeping DH a good 2 metres away .
Does anyone know if Norgeston is the nearest alternative?

Noriday is apparently discontinued. Norgeston has a different active ingredient so may or may not have the same effect as noriday

Although it shows as being available online from superdrug

Did you try something else? I was on Noriday and I was fine on it and I'm scared of the side effects of another one.
