Desogestrel mini pill

Previously been on cerazette and just noticed my new prescription is for Desogestral . I've never heard of it. Has anyone got any experience of it and is it ok to take off the back of Cerazette just like Cerazette and cerelle are interchangeable?
Sorry if Ive made some spelling mistakes there

Desogestrel is the hormone in cerazette/cerelle. It is the generic drug whereas cerazette/cerelle are brand names
