Is this all copper coil doing?

Hi all
I have been on copper coil for 4 years now. My periods got a bit heavy and that's it. No problems, expect anaemia, which I was expecting.

About 1 year ago my periods started to lengthen to 12 days. 3 months ago I started to have the worst (crying and rolling over on bed) ovulation pains. And constant and sometimes quite bad, pressure on pelvic floor and rectum area. No constipation. Worst ever pmt. And constant period type ache after ovulation to end of period.

I think I had a total 3.5-4 weeks pain free in the last 4 months.

I have ultrasound booked on Monday but i am freaking out in the meantime.

Can it be just coil....?

Have a read up on copper toxicity. I got mine out after 3 years and changed to the combined pill, now i'm having spotting while my body adjusts to the hormones but I've had none of the awful side effects like i did on the coil and I expect my blood count to improve too.

Mine turned out to be an ovarian cyst. I requested a scan and had one done yesterday. I was told a cyst on right ovary. I had suspected that. I am waiting a call from gp surgery for further details.

Results might take a week!!! I m exhausted already with waiting and some nervous tension. Never had cysts before.
