How much does getting the coil inserted hurt? I am terrified!!! What is it like compared to when a midwife checks how dilated you are in labour?? Because that was painful for me 😂 however I ended up having CS so I don't know what natural birth is like... thanks!

It really hurt me, I was so surprised. Definitely take pain relief first.

I had it done yesterday and it took a while with a awkward cervix but I’d just say uncomfortable. Doesn’t even register on the same scale as child birth!

Getting it in is bad, but the side effects are the worst! I had to have mine taken out after 6 months.
