Should I stop the pill?

I've been on Cerazette (desogestrel) for the last 18 months. First six months were great, no bleeding, moods fine. Since then I've had weird bleeding randomly with no pattern to it. I suffer with anxiety and I'm not sure if this is making it worse.
Yesterday I woke up to a slight bleed, I had stomach cramps on and off all day, a funny stomach, I'm bloated like a balloon and feel sick. I hardly bled at all yesterday. Last night I couldn't sleep, was too hot and again I'm bleeding oh so slightly, but I'm still bloated, I've a headache and just feel rough.

I'm beginning to wonder if I should knock it on the head and rid my body of extra hormones?

If you were to take it, have you figured out what you’d use instead?

I stopped it (had an implant put in) and mood swings stopped instantly. That pill made me nuts and I'll never take it again. Affects me really badly. Cycle was all over the place (and now it's even worse on the implant so I'm hating this too).
