Hiya my first time posting I’m just a bit confused tbh!

At the end of jan I was struck by norovirus and as a result vomited a few pills and got my period 2 days earlier than expected on the 5th of Jan (drop in progesterone= period)

I hadn’t bought my new pack of pills yet so decided best to use the PO method for a few days and then just decided after two pills to use PO this month as I still wasn't feeling great. Fast forward to the 19th my DH didn’t pull out in time ( we aren’t concerned if we get pregnant and would actually be quite chuffed but are not trying) . Throughout the month I’ve taken a few pills from my pack out of sheer routine.

When I was not on contraception my periods were bang on 30-32 days! So I would expect my next period to be around the 5th of Jan. However since tues (28th jan) I have had some bleeding. It started off a rusty colour and watery and my pad had filled no more than a £2 coin each day. Today the same but it’s more of a dark red colour (more similar to my af) and maybe a tad more than a £2 coin but defo nothing like my normal af! Smile

Could this be af coming early or do you think (what I’ve just googled is apparently a thing called implantation bleeding hence this post! ) I’ve had mild cramps but nothing noticeable and no other period symptoms except for one achey boob but no moodiness etc. I took a test but realised this would be too early and just wanted your opinions on what you think this could be?

FYI I’m 28 and hubby is 29

Much appreciated

I would think this is the sporadic use of the pill causing the odd bleeding. Looking at all the dates I think it is unlikely islets is pregnancy but I could not say 100%

You could do an Early detection pregnancy test, I think, from tomorrow if you are curious though... x
