Depo injection or pill

Hi I have an appointment to get the depo injection after having my baby 3 months ago, I'm just wondering what people's experiences of it is?
I was on the pill for about 10 year prior to coming off it to have my baby, but I realised how much it was effecting my moods when I stopped taking it, so I'm reluctant to go back on it.
However I do want to have another baby in a few years time and I've read the depo can affect TTC.
I also know I definitely do not want the coil or implant, so I feel the choice is between the pill or depo, what does everyone prefer? Thanks

Depo made me bleed and put on loads of weight. It can also delay return of fertility for up to 1 year (sometimes longer). You could try a different combined pill or a mini pill
