Im looking for some advice/experiences on what to expect when coming off depo
I came off depo in October 2019 after almost 10 years on it.
I came off it thinking it would take a year for fertility to come back and I wanted to have my body prepared for the minute we decide TTC however I had my first AF 8 weeks later.
Prior to having the depo my cycle was all over the place - usually every 50 days and very heavy for 8 days but just before depo it suddenly switched to a a 14 day cycle (I dont have pcos but at one point I did have a large fibroid which has apparently vanished despite being told i would need a hysterectomy to remove it but its now gone on its own??)
My 1st AF post depo was 4 days long, fairly light but bad cramps and i had severe breast pain 1 week prior - none of these I have ever experienced before going on contraception.
I was just wondering what peoples cycle ended up being like after coming off.
After your first AF were you then regular?
Or did you have your first period then it stopped again for a while?
Did your cycle return to how it used to be?
Did you start having menstrual symptoms that you never had before such as breast pain or CWD so many days before?
Was it easy track?
