Decided we wanted to try for a baby last summer. Went to have my coil out but I had a funny turn and the nurse couldn't do it. So was booked in with the nurse again and same thing happened. They then told me I had to wait for a gynae appointment to get it out at family planning. Letter arrives months later. I book an appointment and go and they refuse to try and get it out at the clinic and tell me to wait for another letter because I need to go to hospital. I had the letter for that and then it got cancelled and rearranged for the end of feb. Now this has been going on 7 months. Does anyone know whether I can go private to have it done? Or whether I could just turn up at family planning and see if they will take it out for me??
