Could do with advice. Both contraception wise and then possibly mooncup wise

About 8 months ago i came out of a long term relationship. I had been on the depo for about 10 years relatively happily but am worried about the amount of hormone i was putting in my system and felt it was a convenient time for a break.

Until now. There's the vague possibility of sex at some point in the new year. Shock it might even turn into regular sex ShockShockShock.

The problems: I hate hate hate condoms. I feel not a lot and (tmi alert) am rather good at "squeezing" them off. I lose sex drive on the pill and have had two copper coil failures, (one had the potential to cause serious damage). I can't wear tampons except for short periods when swimming, cramps and headaches bizarrely. And having had my first period in 10 ish years forgot how goddamn awful pads and menstrual moodswings are.

All of which are making me want to run straight down the doctors and demand the depo back...

Except its taken me nearly 6 months to even vaguely get the hormones out my system and i doubt Im even fertile yet. I'm pushing 40 and whilst my head knows I'm done having kids (i have 2 and intermittently look at sterilisation with some seriousness) I'm having a weird body clock moment where I'd rather not rule one last one at some point in the next 3-5 years. Especially when potentially embarking on a new relationship.

So anyone any recommendations? Can you even wear mooncups if you can't wear tampons?
