I have tried having a google but I’m getting mixed answers and wanted to ask women who might have more knowledge.
I was put on cerelle about 4 years ago to stop unexplained prolonged bleeding. The mini pill stopped my periods completely. I have been having trouble with depression the last year. Looked up online and seen that the mini pill can make depression worse. Have come off it and yay! I feel so much happier!
Within a few weeks I had a light withdrawal bleed. That was in July. I have not bled since. Ive felt a bit crappy once or twice? But it’s not happened yet. I’ve been taking pregnancy tests regularly (all negative) but I’m wondering at what point do I try again with the GP.
The issue with bleeding I had before had me passed all over the place for tests that showed nothing, no real explanation was reached. I don’t really want to bother going back if this is a normal time to still be waiting for my period after coming off this pill.
Women who have been on the mini pill (especially cerelle) how long until you had a period again?
