I had a Mirena coil fitted in September and initially I had no pain and a tiny bit of bleeding straight after then nothing until I got my period but after that I feel like it didn't end - I've had bleeding every day. It's not loads but not insignificant ( I have to use a size 1 pad daily). I only got it fitted to stop my periods, but instead I've pretty much bled constantly for three months. Is this likely to continue, or should I give it a bit longer to see if it stops?? I've had no pain, but I've been quite spotty and pretty intolerant mood-wise.
I was initially given the mini pill before I had a coil, but this made me bleed every day for months on end too.
