When will I get my period?

My little boy will be 15months old tomorrow and so far I have had no periods since his birth.
For the past few months I have felt cramping at the time of the month and I've noticed my skin breaking out but still no period.
I am still breast feeding but we really want to start trying for baby number 2.
Any help or shared experiences of this would be great!

I could be wrong but I thought you don't get your period while breastfeeding? That could be completely untrue, just something I heard, and I only did it for 6 months and mine came on shortly after

Yeah I had heard that too. But I have breastfeeding friends who got their periods a while ago and I just feel a bit deflated that mine hasn't come back yet.
I really don't want to stop feeding yet but it might be that I have to accept that my period won't come back til I do!
