Gross title sorry!
I’ve had the Mirena in for 18 mths now and have had intermittent or constant bleeding since. It dies off after a few months and I get two periods a month then cycles back to constant, slight bleeding. I’ve had investigations to check it’s nothing more sinister and they didn’t find anything. I’m now back to a constant drip of blood which is weirdly going horrible gloopy brown and grey (only parts of it, like mucus with the blood if that makes sense?) I use a menstrual cup so see it all. Nice. I’ve booked an appt to have it removed in the morning but am now worried that the horrible gloopiness isn’t the Mirena and they’ve missed something. Also worried about having it removed as keep hoping it’ll settle.
Anyone had this? Is it normal? Will it stop or do I do the right thing to get it out?
