Getting used to the pill

Hello, I have just started on the pill (a month in) and I’m experiencing some spotting.

Am I safe to double up on the pill the day before I sleep with my boyfriend to stop the bleeding? Or is there another way I can stop it?

Also, I’m going away with him for the weekend two days after I’m supposed to have my 7 days off the pill? Can I continue taking it while we’re away so I don’t bleed and have my 7 day break from it a few days late?

You can miss the pill free week an just run two packs together with no problem but don't double up your pills randomly. Take the pill steadily for a couple of months at least to see if spotting persists and if it does see your doctor. Caveat: are you sure spotting is due to pill and not something physical eg infection... if you are unsure see your Dr or FP practitioner to discuss.

Just one big question here . When do one get period (not the withdrawal bleeding) after stopping the pill . I used a little over a month and stopped it Midway ☹️.

It's been a month after the withdrawal bleeding and I haven't got my period yet . Kinda worried .

You can run two packs together so you won't get a bleed a lot of doctors are prescribing it that way now and a 4 day break every 4 months. The only reason there's a 7 day break is because they wanted the Vatican to approve it for catholic's back in the 40's (google it) I wouldn't double up though too much hormones your body needs to get used to it and it might take a few months.
