I have a history of CFS but it was manageable. I went on the mirena in March and in July I have had a major relapse in CFS symptoms, mainly severe fatigue and constant headaches. It's worse than it has been for years.
I've had a busy and stressful year with two young kids so it might just be that but I was worried it might be something to do with the coil as well.
Has anyone with CFS used the mirena and how did it affect you?
Has anyone found the mirena caused fatigue?
If the mirena gave you headaches and fatigue, how soon after you had it fitted did you have symptoms, and how quickly did they go when you got it removed?
