How long after finishing Clomid did you ovulate?

Hi ladies. I’m on day 4 of my first cycle of Clomid. I have pcos, and haven’t ovulated for at least the past 18 months - maybe longer (I was on the pill for 13 years!).
I’m hoping some of you who have also used Clomid could advise me, how many days did you take Clomid for and how long after finishing the course did you ovulate if at all?
Stupidly booked a weekend to my parents when I suspect it is most likely to happen for me!

Are they scanning for follicles? They should scan you between day 10 and 14 to check you’ve ovulated and that you aren’t producing too many follicles.

The dates for my scan haven’t come through yet - the gp is following up on it. I was only asking to get an idea of when is average.. and so I knew whether to expect it when I’m apart from DH!

Mine was day 14 if that helps, I have PCOS too.
