Wanting to Breastfeed

I'm currently pregnant with my fourth child, I've previously tried to breastfeed but can't take to it as much as I would love to. I would love to breastfeed this baby for longer, any moms with tips/advice on this please??

This is the best you can offer to your child IMHO. I breastfed my child and I feel it made us closer and gave me these awsome memories of bondness. plus her imune system is strong (tut tut tut) When i was in the hospital after giving birth to her there was a special stuff who was helping me with everything since I told them that I am going to breastfeed. My advise, ask beforehand it you could have a nurse or some adviser to help yuo out. But they normally have somebody there on place. Good luck! P.S. since you going to breaskfeed you need to pay close attention to what you eat and drink as what you eat, your child will eat too.

Hi,
I really struggled with breastfeeding & ended up mix feeding. I got loads of support over on the infant feeding board (part of feed the world). So perhaps posting there will get you more responses
I would get as much real life support as possible, starting now. I don’t know if you’re UK based or not, but la leche league, local breadt feeding groups, national breastfeeding helpline.
I also found the kellymom website & jack Newman videos invaluable. Having to rush this so cant link but google should find them,
Best of luck with it xx
