Hi, been on Rigevidon since 2015. Used to be on Microgynon but don't think they make this any more.

I keep feeling really down and wonder if my pill could have something to do with this ?

Wonder what other people's experience are of this Pill ?
Thanks

Barring pregnancy and trying for DS I've been on rigevidon and previously microgynon for 22 years.

I believe (and googling seems to confirm) that the ingredients and quantities are identical.

I've never had any side effects and I take consecutive packs with a break after 4.

Hi
I've been taking rigevidon for a few years now. I had no problems with it, I stopped taking it to have DS in 2016 and started taking it again in July last year and I've had no end of problems since. I've had periods of feeling really low, headaches, nausea, stomach pain, but the feeling low has been terrible. If it wasn't for the fact we're trying for another baby soon I would stop taking it. Go and talk to your GP and find out what your other options are, it's not worth taking it if you feel as terrible as I have, good luck.

Thanks Frangipani, I was on microgynon for 20+ years albeit breaks for pregnancies and never had any problems. I had heard they were the same but I definitely feel different. Glad it's working out for you with no issues

Thanks Nomfup44. I've just been feeling so low and actually at times felt like it would be better if I wasn't here which I don't generally feel like this.
I went to see the nurse on Thursday and she prescribed me a month.
She took my BP and said it was low and asked if this was normal for me which it isn't and then said "oh well, better low than high"
So I had a google of ridgevidon and now feel a bit concerned. Think I'll come off it and go back to see the GP.
