I'm on Rigevidon, I take it for 21 days then have a 7 day break for a bleed.

My last pill always lands on a Thursday and I normally come on my "period" by the Saturday but the last few months it's getting later.

It came on a Sunday morning. Last month it came on a Sunday night and this month (I was worrying!!) it came this morning (Monday).

Just wondering if this is normal? How long does it take for your bleed to coming after stopping your pill?

Not sure if it's relevant but my bleed is so much lighter and less painful since I had my baby (16m old)

Yes, variation is common - absolute regularity is rarer.

Your body may be settling into a new hormonal normal now. Have you recently stopped breastfeeding or anything like that?

It's entirely normal. The bleed you have on Rigevidon isn't a "real" period, but a withdrawal bleed from not taking the hormones.

As it stops you ovulating the womb lining doesn't build up much, so less to come away. The point at which you start to bleed is usually fairly predictable but can vary slightly. As long as you have taken all your pills in the packet properly, and you bleed at some point within your pill free week don't worry.

No, I was unfortunately unable to breastfeed. I was on this pill for a long time before TTC and my bleed was always fairly heavy.

After returning to the pill following childbirth it's been far lighter. However, it still always started like clockwork. Just wondering why the unpredictability all of a sudden!

Thanks ladies

Yep - mine is the same! Not very helpful though is it? I hate waiting for it to come!!
