Hi, I had the Mirena fitted just over a year ago. It is my second Mirena. I had it for around 2 years between having DS and having it out to try for DD. Anyway with my first one my periods stopped completely, no bleeding whatsoever.
This time around was similar for 10 months. Pretty much no bleeding other than very minimal spotting from time to time. Until 2 months ago.. I had a random period. It wasn’t heavy but enough to be a pain. Pretty much all old blood TMI sorry.
Didn’t think much of it until a month later I had another period similar.
What could this mean?
At my six week check after having it in, I was told that strings were quite short and I’d struggle to feel them. I was told if my periods changed to go back just in case it had moved or fell out.
Would it even be possible for it to fall out without knowing?
I’m thinking I should go get it checked?
