Bleeding all the time

I am a my so fed up. I have had bleeding off and on since I had my 2nd baby 3 years ago.
I have tried:
Implant in my arm (6 months bleeding )
Microgynon/Rigevidon gave me migraines- but worked. Apparently because of the migranes that rules out all the other pills from their group.
I am on cerelle just now it was great for 6 months now continual bleeding.
The doctors are saying I am aneamic but now wonder.
And of course 'd'p hates condoms and its my problem.
Anyone been in his position?
I am drained and fed up.

You have my sympathies, they are right with the pill though if it causes migraines then your risk of a stroke is raised so its safer for you to stop, implants and mini pills like the one you're on bleeding is a common side effect, a third of ladies will stop bleeds, a third will have irregular bleeds and a third will have regular periods. The most effective methods for stopping bleeds are the Depo injection or the mirena coil both are likely (but not guaranteed) to stop bleeding

I am defiantly going to book an appointment. I may look into the injection.
I just hope I find something that works.

I have the same issue as you😭 bleed constantly on progesterone (sp?) Only methods and im not allowed the combined pill due to health reasons, i think the only hormone free option is the copper coil/condoms. Not too keen on the idea of the coil so we are using condoms for now, if it helps imo latex free condomd lile the 'skyn' brand feel better than latex, so maybe you could try those in the mean time?

I would coming off all hormones for a while to let your body regulate itself. Constantly moving from one hormone to another will be messing you up more.

Just came on to MN to write a similar post, although it’s 12 years since I gave birth. I have been bleeding on and off for a year or so now, tried a number of different pills, GP gave me some stronger hormone pills in hope it would help but 3 months on them and if anything it’s worse. I’m now mid cycle and bleeding on and off. I also get the mood swings and period pain on and off all month.

My GP has suggested the coil, up until now I have been totally against getting it but I have got to the point where I think I will give it a go. I’m just really anxious about getting it and worried about having sex with one in (I know I’m being silly).

Thank you Londonlife85 I will look into the latex free condoms. Our sex life is non existent just now just because I am so uncomfortable with cramp and/or bleeding.

teacherspets I think that is the best idea right now. I am stoping taking the pill and if dp wants sex then it is up to him to deal with contraception right now because my body obviously needs a break.

Lovemisic33 it's awful isn't it? I have not a fan of the coil as a friend had a problem with hers ( She left it in to long and it got stuck) but if it gave me a break from the constant bleeding I think I would actually give it a go.
I am going to have a break from all hormones just now and see the gp in a month.
