Contraception/acne

My DD is 20 and in long term relationship. She's tried the combined pill and has recently used the depo injection, however, she's gained 10 pounds and feels it is making her skin very oily and making her acne worse. Does anyone have any advice on contraceptive method that will help her skin? I'm sure I've read about one of the pills helping with acne? Tia

Hi the most modern pill we have that is the best for skin is yasmin (it has other names as well) it's a combined pill though, how long has she been on Depo? The injection does a proven link to weight gain for some ladies, she may be better on a lower dose progesterone method or going back on a combined pill

Progesteron pills ( mini pill) are terrible for acne. Yasmin like PP mentioned or Dianette which is a combined pill used to control acne too.

My skin was fab when I was on the pill but terrible when I tried the mini pill then even more terrible when I had the Mirena coil.
