I had a Mirena fitted 10 yrs ago, removed and replaced after 6 yrs. I've always been slightly irritable with it, but steady low level irritation felt better than wildly swinging PMT moods. My current Mirena has been in for 4 yrs now, and I have suddenly (over the last few weeks) been unreasonably angry and irritable. Could this be the Mirena after all this time? There is a family history of earlyish menopause (early 40s), so that could be a factor, but no other menopausal symptoms...
