Mirena Coil ....... Gone missing !!!!

Hi All

Anyone else had their mirena Coil strings gone missing???

Cutting a long story short I've had my mirena in 2 months and I HATE it, I've never had so many issues since having it in. Been to my local sexual health clinic where 3 nurses and a doctor have tried to find the strings with no luck. I have a scan booked at the hospital now in Sept to locate it. I know it's still there as I'm constantly getting discharge which I have been on antibiotics for and my stomach is so bloated 

I'm worried about the removal process when they locate it as it hurts like mad when they put it in !!! All I want is this coil gone .... anyone else had same situation????

Watching with Interest as this is one of my worst nightmares.

I've had mine in since may, and tho I THOUGHT I was ok on it I really don't think I am.
Weigh gain
Acne
Stomach bloating
And pretty much constant spotting now.
No libido
And not to mention insomnia I'm exhausted but can't sleep and never had this problem before

I tried tried to find my strings once and couldn't by dh assures me he can feel it during intercourse. Thinking of having mine out also.

My wires went missing, the scan showed the coil was still in place. I opted to have the coil removed and came out very easily. It was done in hospital and pain free. It's very common for them to go missing unfortunately.
