Getting period back

Hi all. Not sure if this is a silly question or not but if there anything ( eg herbal etc) that I can take to encourage my period to come back? I haven't had my period since December 2014, had my DD and then been on the pill continuously ever since. We want to start trying for a baby but I obviously need my cycle to return now that I've stopped taking the pill. Is there anything that can encourage my body to start having periods again as I know for some people it can take months for them to resume or is it just a waiting game to see when it happens?

When did you stop taking the pill? If it’s not been long you probably need to give it more time, it can take months.
You could have a look at the Period Repair Manual by Lara Briden.
