I have been on Microgynon/RIGEVIDON for 19.5yrs since having my son! My GP wanted to change me to the mini pill as my bmi has rocketed due to weight gain from Pregabalin! I reluctantly switched, even though I have been tapering slowly from the Pregabalin due to side effects.
Anyway I started the mini pill straight away from the RIGEVIDON, but I felt queesy on it, so stopped after 10 days & had two weeks pill free! I rang the gp & asked if I could restart RIGEVIDON again. She said yes ok!
So have been on it nearly 3wks & I’ve had nervousness upon waking & during the day, low mood, a couple times I have felt like I don’t want to be here anymore, extreme fatigue, been weepy very sore boobs. Does anyone think it could be due to restarting the pill? To me it seems too coincidental plus on the leaflet it lists nervousness as a common side effect!
Advice or experiences welcome please?
